New Delhi, Actor Khushbu Sundar went down memory lane as she shared pictures of her first South film “Kaliyga Pandavuulu”, which has completed 40 years of release.
I walked in as a gawky young 15yr old teenager, with zero knowledge about South,” she wrote. The actor also praised her co-star Venkatesh. “The most beautiful part of this journey is that I found a friend for life in @venkateshdaggubati . His journey as an actor, becoming a great star and remaining as wonderful as ever has alway,s inspired. Many more years to us, my friend.
The actor said she was just 15 years old when she started shooting the film. “I complete 40 years in cinema in the South. My very 1st South film, #KaliyugaPandavulu was released today in 1986. Thank you Venky, for being part of my life for the last 40 yrs.
Love you my friend, unconditionally,” she said.
The film released in 1986 and also starred Daggubati Venkatesh alongside the actor. Sundar appeared in the role of Bharathi in the film. The film was directed by Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao and emerged as a hit at the box office.
Prior to the film, she also featured in projects such as “The Burning Train” , “Naseeb” , and “Laawaris” where she starred as a child actor. The post, which was shared on Friday, featured a series of pictures of Sundar and Venkatesh from the film.
