Heart attacks in your 20s and 30s are rising: Cardiologist Dr BC Kalmath explains

In a 2022 interview with Gulf News, Emraan opened up about dealing with failure and why it is important to keep moving forward. Emraan Hashmi has built a successful career in Hindi cinema, taking on a variety of roles across romance, drama, thriller and action films. Over the years, the actor has experienced both major successes and professional setbacks.

Emraan Hashmi, born on March 24, 1979, is an Indian actor who primarily works in Hindi cinema. He made his acting debut with the 2003 crime thriller Footpath and rose to fame with films such as Murder, Gangster, Jannat and Awarapan. In 2013, he was also featured on Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list.

The real challenge comes when a person becomes stuck after a setback and stops trying. Initially known for romantic thrillers, Emraan later diversified his film choices and took on a variety of dramatic and challenging roles.

Reflecting on setbacks and the need to overcome them, Emraan said, “You may fail time and again, but the problem happens when you don’t come out of it and try something new and keep moving.” (Also read: Quote of the day by Chiranjeevi: ‘If we stay focused on our goals, work hard and persevere, success will inevitably…’ ) Emraan ’s words highlight the difference between experiencing failure and allowing it to define you. Failing repeatedly is not necessarily the biggest problem, according to the actor.

Whether it is a career goal, a creative project, an examination, a business idea or a personal ambition, not every attempt will lead to success. What matters is the ability to reassess the situation, learn from mistakes and make another attempt. The actor’s message is ultimately simple: failure is not the end of the journey. Staying stuck after failure is what can prevent growth.
