Recently, Taapsee spoke about her equation with Kangana and revealed that she has never met the actor. Taapsee Pannu and Kangana Ranaut had a public feud in 2019 and 2020. She also opened up about the possibility of joining politics.
I didn’t meet her before when these so-called issues started. I haven’t met her now as well. My opinion on her is reflective of my upbringing and my way of talking, my way of perceiving things and hers… she stands by hers. So, I think that’s enough for everybody to look and decide who comes from where. Taapsee also spoke about the possibility of entering politics. Also, I want to do a few more films. I am not at all considering joining and I don’t have the DNA for that. Taapsee also shared that she takes an interest in political issues and is vocal about them as an educated citizen rather than approaching such matters from a political standpoint. Taapsee, however, has maintained that despite their differences, she is ready to be friends with the actor. A fight happens when two people clash. I never clashed. Her sister called me a ‘cheap copy. If she is such a brilliant actress, I have no problem being called her copy. On the work front, Taapsee was last seen in Gandhari, an action thriller directed by Devashish Makhija. The film follows a mother’s relentless pursuit to find and rescue her kidnapped daughter, exploring themes of revenge and redemption amidst her harrowing journey.
Speaking about her feud with Kangana , Taapsee said that the way they speak about each other is a reflection of their upbringing. She said, “I am too honest and vulnerable for this. Speaking on Shubhankar Mishra’s YouTube channel in an old interaction, Taapsee said, “I don’t know if I ever fought. You tell me — have I ever said even a single line against her? She said that since I don’t earn as much money as her, that makes me cheap. You can take out any statement of mine – I haven’t said anything against her.
She told India Today, “I haven’t met her.
