Working remotely while travelling can be challenging, particularly when a reliable internet connection is essential. One woman has shared the elaborate setup she uses to stay online and get through a six-hour train journey in India without missing work or meetings.
Yadav also shared another discovery from the journey: the ability to order food directly to the train during a station stop. “And then I learned another useful trick: you can directly order food at your train seat via Swiggy or Zomato, and it actually shows up. So my train work essentials are pretty simple: backup network, separate internet phone, and a window seat for this. And six hours later, Mysore showed up. Not a bad way to get through a workday.”
Sharing the clip, she wrote in the caption, “My train-work setup is probably overkill… until the first network disappears. Three SIM cards, a dedicated internet phone, wired tethering—and apparently you can get lunch delivered during a station stop too.
Save this setup for your next long travel day.” (Also read: ‘This is not home’: Man says WFH from flat feels no different from office )
