It has been 16 years since actor Prakash Raj and choreographer Pony Verma made their relationship official. On their wedding anniversary, Pony surprised fans by posting a rare photo of herself with Prakash, calling him her love. She also wrote that she hoped to spend eternity with him.

They had three children, including two daughters, Meghana and Pooja. Lalitha maintained that they maintain a cordial relationship despite separating after the tragedy.
Prakash married actor Lalitha Kumar in 1994, after which she stepped away from films. Their son, Sidhu, died in 2004 when he was only five after sustaining an injury from a fall. The couple divorced in 2009.
