Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle, allegedly told his first wife: A practical reader guide

This revelation comes after Philippine police found a laptop containing images of child abuse at Thomas Markle’s former home in the country.

Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle, allegedly told his first wife that he went to the “Far East” because “12-year-olds are legal there”.

Thomas Markle’s first wife, Roslyn Loveless, told London’s Metropolitan Police back in 2019 that he had confessed to travelling to Thailand and the Philippines to have sex with 12-year-olds, according to a separate report in The Sun. After the reports, Meghan said that in 2018 she had seen a letter sent to London’s Metropolitan Police and Royalty and Specialist Protection making similar accusations.

In her letter to Met Police, Loveless said that she questioned Markle about sexual abuse of children. On Friday, Meghan Markle said she was “deeply distressed” by accusations her father had possessed images of child abuse, adding she had blocked contact between him and her children over previous “troubling and disturbing” allegations.
