India’s largest airline IndiGo’s website faced a glitch on Wednesday, with some customers unable to book

India’s largest airline IndiGo’s website faced a glitch on Wednesday, with some customers unable to book tickets as flight searches displayed a “no data available” message.

An IndiGo spokesperson confirmed the incident, saying the aircraft experienced a technical snag while approaching Chennai airport. The complaint alleged that the passenger lost her temper in the presence of officials from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), IndiGo and the Airports Authority of India. More recently, a full emergency was declared at Chennai airport for IndiGo flight 6E-723, operating from Kolkata to Chennai, after the aircraft reported a left engine failure. The full emergency was declared shortly before the aircraft was scheduled to land at around 11:30 pm and was later lifted. The aircraft was carrying 224 people, sources told HT. In another IndiGo-related incident, a woman passenger allegedly caused ₹ 49,000 worth of damage to property at Bhubaneswar’s Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) on Thursday, prompting authorities to file a police complaint against her. Kharat was scheduled to travel to Kolkata on IndiGo flight 6E 7352, according to the complaint filed at the Airfield police station. The incident reportedly took place around 6 pm on Thursday.
