Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his Independence Day address from the historic Red Fort, announced free online coaching for aspirants preparing for competitive exams. Following the announcement, Physics Wallah (PW) founder Alakh Pandey hailed the initiative and offered his full support to the government.

In the Independence Day speech, PM Modi announced various initiatives including free online coaching, an AI skilling programme, a sports talent hub, and more. “I really appreciate Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Promise about Free online Coaching for all needy students. I have always believed that online is the only way to make quality education accessible to remote towns and villages. I want to see this happening on ground coz execution is the main part,” he wrote in the post. I dont want any profits in return. Quality Education should be free for Every kid of India. “The race for coaching classes has become a massive burden for our middle-class families. Every parent feels that if they don’t send their child to a coaching class, they aren’t considered a ‘prestigious’ family.

Meanwhile, in his 75-minute speech, the PM referred to the youth around 50 times, according to the news agency PTI .

Furthermore, he offered his support for the initiative and said, “I offer my unconditional support to Govt for this. We are concerned about the thousands of crores of rupees these poor and middle-class families spend; we want to save them that expense,” the PM said. Making the announcement, PM Modi said free online coaching would be provided for various competitive examinations for the country’s youth. Seeking to reach out to the youth, the Prime Minister used terms including “yuva”, “yuva shakti”, and “saathiyon”.
