A day before her tragic death in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, along with her husband and son, Sangita Chandgude had posted a video on her Youtube channel.
The boy then fell from the steep hill, and his father, who tried to save him, also lost his balance and fell. As they tried to persuade him to back down, many others, including the police, fire brigade personnel, villagers and the sarpanch reached the spot. “It seems he was deliberately attempting to take the extreme step. The situation continued for nearly three hours. The teenager suddenly jumped, and his father also fell while trying to grab and save him,” Rameshwar Gade, inspector at Waluj MIDC police station. The bodies were recovered by the police and were sent for further formalities.
Rescue personnel tried to place a safety net at the foothill, but the 19-year-old repeatedly changed his position near the edge, making it difficult for them to anticipate where he might jump, police said, HT reported earlier. After 1 pm, his father slowly approached him and pleaded with him to step away from the edge.
The mother, who witnessed her husband and son plunge from the hill, fell moments later, police said. The incident took place at Khavda Hill in the Tisgaon area under Waluj MIDC police jurisdiction on Friday.

If she laughs and talks with someone, they call her characterless. If she doesn’t talk, they call her arrogant. “So, don’t worry about what people think. People will judge you and put labels on you no matter what you do. So, live for yourself. You get only one life, so enjoy it. Live for yourself, live for your children, do what feels right to you, and be happy. Right?”
