Home and living briefing: Step inside Taj Mahal lookalike home a man built for his wife featuring

In 2021, Anand Prakash Chouksey decided to turn his home into an architectural wonder in his hometown of Burhanpur – about 800 kilometres from where Shah Jahan’s original creation sits in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Remember the businessman who built a replica of the Taj Mahal for his wife?

The central development

The tour was given by Anand Prakash Chouksey’s son and his family. They shared details that went into making the home. Let’s take a look inside: Inside, the double-ceiling interiors give the feeling of entering a massive space. As you enter the home, you are welcomed into a completely white space, elevated by marble and intricate tilework, with a grand double staircase leading to the first level.

On August 11, content creator Shubham Prajapat, who goes by Madcap Live on Instagram , shared a tour of the Taj Mahal lookalike house. The ceiling is incredibly high, about 24 feet, according to Chouksey’s son.

“The staircase looks like something from a movie set, and the ceiling is incredibly high—about 24 feet,” Shubham added in the clip.
