A 28-year-old Hyderabad man reportedly died in Lowell, Massachusetts on September 14. His family has now sought government assistance to bring back his mortal remains to India.

Emergency services attended the scene, but Sharma died at the site. Sharma was struck near Bungendore Road at Bywong, about 25 kilometres northeast of Canberra, at around 9.40pm on September 3, according to a report by The Australia Today.
Hussain later started working as a civil engineer in Lowell. Amjadullah Khan of Majlis Bachao Tahreek (MBT) has now reached out to the external affairs minister S Jaishankar for repatriation of Hussain’s mortal remains to India. Khan also requested the government to bear the expenses involved in transporting his mortal remains from the USA to India, citing the financial condition of Hussain’s family. “At this hour of unimaginable grief, the family needs the support of the Government of India. I sincerely hope for your immediate humanitarian intervention to bring Jaber home to his family without any further delay,” Khan wrote on X.
The deceased, identified as Mohammed Jaber Hussain of Santoshnagar in Hyderabad, had moved to the United States in 2021 for his higher studies, The Times of India reported, quoting his family.
His family said he was found dead in his sleep at his home in the US. Khan said that Hussain was the only son of his parents and the family is devastated by his death as he also noted that the family is financially weak.
