Christy Knowings, the actress and comedian best known for her time on Nickelodeon’s All That, has died at 46.
She died from complications following a severe asthma attack, according to Entertainment Weekly.

She also appeared on Sesame Street alongside her twin brother, Chris Knowings, and later pursued music. She recalled enjoying the role so much that she would stay in character even when the cameras were not rolling. Everybody loved it! Christy Knowings was best known for appearing on All That for three seasons, from around 1997 to 2000. In a 2017 interview with Bustle, Chris Knowings said her favorite character was Gloria Bankhead, a season 6 character she described as “an over-the-top Martha Stewart. Because everyone on set enjoyed interacting with Gloria, knowings said the character was her favorite.
She played several characters on the Nickelodeon sketch comedy show, including Jessica in the “Whateverrr!!!” sketches with Amanda Bynes. She said, “I just remember being on set and being her all-day long.
