Lupton’s family confirmed to KOCO 5 that the Southwest Airlines flight attendant from Moore was recently found dead in Hawaii. Lupton’s family told KOCO 5: “We have not talked to the police yet. The family were not contacted until 24 hours after her body was found and do not think she died by suicide.
They said they have only been in touch with the medical examiner’s office so far for details. “We strongly believe that she didn’t do this intentionally, and so that leads us to think it was either some kind of freak accident or someone harmed her,” Lupton’s sister, Tresa Lupton, told KFOR . The Honolulu Police Department said it has opened an unattended death investigation.
Her body was found by a hotel staffer early Thursday morning, with an investigation into her death ongoing, according to News 9.
