The jury resumed deliberations for a third day on Monday, as they continue to debate questions around reasonable doubt, criminal responsibility, and mental illness. No verdict has been reached in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial yet.
He called the jury “very thorough.
But Reddington said Monday that the jury never actually got to see those items, so he didn’t think the request meant much. Reddington also said that both he and his client just want the trial to be over. When asked if Clancy is ready for it to end, he said, “I think everybody is.”
So far, the only clue about what the jury is thinking came on Friday, when they asked the judge to let them review pill bottles and a knife that were part of the evidence.
Sad. Scared. He did not comment on her state Monday.
Clancy, 36, a former labor and delivery nurse, has pleaded not guilty in the killings of her children, Cora, 5; Dawson, 3; and Callan, 8 months. Clancy fatally strangled her children with exercise resistance bands on January 24, 2023, in the basement of her Duxbury, Massachusetts home, before trying to kill herself, while her then-husband was out running errands.
Reddington said Friday that Clancy was “nervous. She was seen in court wearing a dark green, long-sleeved blouse, with her family sitting behind her as they await the verdict, according to NBC News.
