The Andhra Pradesh government announced helpline numbers for residents seeking assistance in connection with the situation in Nepal. The helpline number within India is 1800 309 3793. APNRTS is also operating a 24×7 helpline on 08632340678. Citizens have been urged to contact the Collectorate’s toll-free number, 08555-289039, to report any difficulties, according to a press release.
Officials said the Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority (USDMA) had released the numbers to aid affected people. The help desk was established on the instructions of the Chief Minister’s Office. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay directed officials to undertake swift and coordinated efforts to trace and rescue people from the State and provide them with necessary assistance. The Uttarakhand government has issued helpline numbers to assist residents of the State stranded in Nepal. Anyone from Uttarakhand stranded in the affected areas of Nepal, or those seeking to share information about an individual, can contact the State Emergency Operations Centre (SEOC) in Dehradun. The West Bengal government has opened helplines at the State police headquarters in Bhabani Bhavan to assist families seeking information about relatives who may have been affected in Nepal. The Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) has issued helpline numbers for citizens from the State who may be stranded or require assistance owing to the flood situation in Nepal. Citizens may also write to [email protected] . The Odisha government set up a control room in New Delhi and issued helpline numbers to assist people from the State who may be stranded or in distress following the devastating flash floods in Nepal. The Rajasthan government has issued helpline numbers for those seeking information or assistance regarding people from the State currently travelling in Nepal.

The Nepal Tourism Board also issued emergency contact numbers, including the toll-free number 1234, hotline 1144 and Tourist Police number 9851289445. The helpline numbers are 1070 and 080-22253707. Residents stranded in Nepal, or their family members, may contact the Disaster Management Helpline at 1070 or +91-771-2223471 for assistance and information. A 24-hour control room has been set up at the Mantralaya, and residents requiring assistance have been urged to contact it. The control room can be reached on the toll-free helpline 1070 or +91-9321587143. The helpline numbers are +91-7428135044, +91-8527580245 and 011-23012807, according to a government statement. People in Sikkim with family members or relatives in Nepal who have been affected by the floods may contact the helpline on 03592-201145, 03592-202461 and 03592-202256, the release said. The Disaster Management Department said families seeking information about Rajasthan residents travelling in Nepal could contact the State Emergency Operations Centre on the toll-free numbers 1070 and 112. They may also contact the centre on 0141-2851960, 0141-2385776, 0141-2385777, 0141-2227296, 0141-2927392 and 0141-2227603. Information may also be shared through IP number 28888 or via email at [email protected].
The Revenue Department has shared a Google form and requested tour operators, family members and stranded persons to provide details so that they can be contacted for rescue and assistance.
The Indian Embassy in Nepal said it was in constant touch with the Nepali government to facilitate the safe evacuation of Indian nationals in distress and coordinate rescue operations. In a post on X, he said officials at Tamil Nadu House in New Delhi had been instructed to coordinate rescue efforts. People from Maharashtra stranded in Nepal have also been asked to upload their details through the designated online link to facilitate assistance, according to a release. In a press release, the Sikkim State Disaster Management Authority (SSDMA) said the helpline would facilitate information sharing, coordination of rescue and relief, and communication with authorities.
