A shooting took place at Sam’s Club in Burleson, Texas , on August 24. The incident took place at 600 North Burleson Boulevard where the warehouse chain selling a variety of bulk grocery items, electronics & home goods is located.
WFAA , a local channel, also reported a North Texas police officer was shot in the incident, citing sources. The Burleson Police Department issued a statement offering a blow-by-blow account of what happened. The Burleson Police Department did not release any details about the condition of the suspect. Scanner reports indicated that an officer was injured in the shooting, but the police statement made no mention of that. The identity of the officer allegedly shot has not been disclosed either. Meanwhile, others expressed fears and concerns after the police issued the statement about the shooting. Yet another added “Glad they have been caught !! Worth so just wondering. Tons of prayers the officer will be ok. An individual also added “I’m just wondering exactly how are the customers leaving Sam’s? Hope all the police are ok.”
