As per the Iranian leader, these problems come due to the US’ fresh wave of sanctions against Iran.
As the conflict between the United States and Iran continues, Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian said on Sunday that Tehran is facing “many problems”.
During this speech, the Iranian president added that a memorandum of understanding with the US was the “only way out of the conflict. In the speech published by state-run IRNA, the president added that members of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council believed the memorandum represented the best possible agreement. “There is not a single provision in this agreement that amounts to capitulation. As per a statement from the Pakistani ministry of foreign affairs, Asim Munir will lead a delegation to Tehran, with the aim to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Iran and Pakistan.
US President Donald Trump announced the “most crushing economic operation” earlier this week which would target countries helping Iran in any way. The supreme leader sets the policies, and we will follow that path,” said Pezeshkian. This statement from the president also comes after Iran warned Trump of “seismic action” if economic sanctions were imposed against countries friendly towards Iran. “If (Trump) wants to do something, we will retaliate in a seismic manner,” said Mohsen Rezaei, the hard-line new leader of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.
