Haryana CM to kick off investment outreach in Mumbai today

Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini arrived in Mumbai on Saturday with a high-level delegation to launch the state’s global investment outreach programme aimed at positioning Haryana as a leading destination for institutional investment, advanced manufacturing and emerging technologies.

An official spokesperson said the two-day roadshow scheduled for August 23 and 24, will bring together global investors, corporate leaders, industry representatives and members of Haryana’s business diaspora. It also marks the beginning of a sustained international campaign ahead of the Happening Haryana Global Investors Summit scheduled for April 2027.

The spokesperson said that a key feature of the Mumbai visit will be an exclusive private equity and venture capital breakfast roundtable, where fund managers and institutional investors collectively managing more than US$500 billion ( ₹ 47 lakh crore approximately) are expected to participate. The discussions will focus on opportunities in technology startups, precision manufacturing, logistics, commercial real estate and digital infrastructure. The CM is also scheduled to hold one-on-one meetings with global CEOs, industry leaders and institutional fund heads. The state delegation will highlight mechanisms for administrative support, faster regulatory clearances and tailored co-investment frameworks for large-scale projects. A plenary session involving corporate leaders, trade bodies, diplomatic missions and institutional investors is also planned. The Haryana government will showcase the state’s strategic location and industrial strengths, including its proximity to the national capital and extensive connectivity through freight, aviation, logistics and rail infrastructure.
