An Indian woman in South Korea has shared her admiration for the country’s public transport and the civic sense of its people after travelling on a local bus. Because commuters refrain from damaging or misusing them, in a video posted on social media, she pointed out how well-maintained public facilities remain.
“Guys, ever since I came to South Korea, there is one thing that I like the most here—meaning their public transport, and even more than that, the people here. “And look at the best part, guys: the people here haven’t ruined or broken things. For example, if there is a bottle holder in the bus, it isn’t broken. No one has torn the seats, like poking a pencil into them or slashing them with a blade. There’s AC, and people haven’t unnecessarily twisted and broken the AC knobs. There are curtains installed, and they haven’t needlessly pulled them down or ripped them out.
I mean, I normally travel by public transport here, and look at their buses—they are so clean,” she says.
