: A directive issued by Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath during his Janta Darshan at Gorakhnath Temple on Tuesday was acted upon within two days, with an approach road constructed up to a woman’s home in Tali Mathiya village under Bhatpar Rani tehsil of Deoria district.
The swift action also sent a message to local residents that complaints related to basic public amenities are being prioritized and followed through at the ground level on the chief minister’s directions Because there was no proper approach road, officials said Sunita had faced considerable difficulty reaching her house.
They said the intervention ensured that she was not deprived of basic road connectivity.
Soling work was then carried out to build the approach road. Police officials also warned people who were allegedly obstructing the work. Because neighbouring residents were creating obstructions and had encroached on the land, she allegedly faced difficulties.
Officials said Sunita Devi, a Tali Mathiya resident, had been seeking an approach road over around eight decimals of land. Circle officer (CO), Bhatpar Rani, Manoj Kumar said on Friday that police personnel assisted revenue officials during land measurement.
