The blaze was reported on Clover Valley Road in Grass Valley on Friday morning. A vegetation fire, named the Clover Fire, is burning in Nevada County, California.

The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office issued an evacuation order for Zone NCO-E048 at 1:45 p.m. on Friday, due to the wildfire near Clover Valley Road and Rainbow Road.

Children evacuated from Alta Sierra Elementary School are being transported to Magnolia Intermediate School, according to the sheriff’s office.
