The blaze was reported on Clover Valley Road in Grass Valley on Friday morning. A vegetation fire, named the Clover Fire, is burning in Nevada County, California.

By 2:25 p.m. local time, the fire had burned more than five acres. The school is located at 22431 Kingston Lane, Grass Valley, CA 95949. For animals, a temporary evacuation shelter has been established at the Nevada County Horseman, located at 10600 Bubbling Wells Rd, Grass Valley, CA 95945.
The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office issued an evacuation order for Zone NCO-E048 at 1:45 p.m. on Friday, due to the wildfire near Clover Valley Road and Rainbow Road.
Children evacuated from Alta Sierra Elementary School are being transported to Magnolia Intermediate School, according to the sheriff’s office.
