Paul Robinson, father of an alleged ringleader in a Penn State University drug ring investigation, has been charged with helping conceal evidence connected to the case. Paul faces felony charges of tampering with evidence and hindering apprehension.
He is licensed to practise law in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Thomas stated that he purchased the drugs from Agostino Abatiello, a fellow Penn State student and member of the Sigma Chi fraternity, who Attorney General Sunday characterized as being at “the very top of the chain. Additionally, Abbatiello and Thomas are accused by investigators of routinely traveling from State College to Philadelphia and New York City in order to obtain huge amounts of cocaine.
Authorities charged 14 current and former students in connection with the alleged cocaine trafficking network. Robinson then earned his law degree from New England School of Law in 1992.
Robinson is the only person charged who is not a current or former Penn State student, according to investigators. Robinson earned his bachelor’s degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, according to his professional profile.
