When Mumbai -born Jyoti Wakchaure moved to Gothenburg, Sweden, on a dependent visa, she never expected to build her own digital company. Speaking with Hindustantimes.com, she opened up about the raw reality of navigating immigrant life. After facing a shocking, abrupt firing from her job, she turned adversity into ambition by launching a social media agency during the pandemic.
Wakchaure described how her life has been by sharing her best and worst memories after relocating. “My best memory would be of course when my daughter was born in Sweden and I got to experience this beautiful moment in the old fashion way (natural birth) and it was extremely special. Talking about her investments, she continued, “I mostly have my investments in India as in property and recently started investing in Sweden as well. My expenses are limited as I mostly work from home and do not need an office space which is a huge saving in itself.”
