JioHotstar’s K-drama A Shop for Killers Season 2 wrapped up with a tense finale that brought the war

JioHotstar’s K-drama A Shop for Killers Season 2 wrapped up with a tense finale that brought the war between Murthehelp and Babylon to a temporary end, while still leaving plenty of room for the story to continue. The finale, which aired on August 12, 2026, was filled with betrayals, emotional sacrifices and a major shift in power. Here’s a look at how the Season 2 finale played out, what happened to the key characters and what it could mean for a potential third season. [ Warning: This article contains major spoilers].

After spending the season fighting for her life and trying to understand the world her uncle Jeong Jin Man ( Lee Dong Wook ) left behind, Jeong Ji An ( Kim Hye Jun ) finally stepped up and proved she could lead Murthehelp on her own.

However, the ending leaves plenty of room for the story to continue. The ceasefire between Murthehelp and Babylon is far from secure, while Chen remains a largely unexplored figure who could become the next major threat. As of the Season 2 finale, Disney+ has not officially announced A Shop for Killers Season 3.

A recording revealed that she had manipulated Q into blaming Jin Man for J’s death. The finale saw Jin Man deliberately remain in Babylon’s custody as part of the larger plan. Meanwhile, Ji An and the Code Reds exposed Kusanagi’s lies. Once Q learned the truth, she turned against Kusanagi and helped Jin Man escape. Kusanagi made one final attempt to kill Jin Man, but Ji An shot her, ending her reign. Chen could play a bigger role if the series returns. That would allow the show to move beyond Kusanagi and explore a new chapter in the Murthehelp-Babylon conflict.

Speaking to Sports Chosun, Hye Jun said post the finale, “I was curious about Chen’s identity, and when I saw senior actor Yoo Ji-tae, it gave me chills,” adding, “I thought to myself that Season 3 could start with Chen’s appearance.”
