Because of an internet search found on a computer used by her then-husband, Patrick Clancy, tom Hall, the late country music singer and songwriter, has been mentioned in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial.
But Patrick Clancy has said he was the person looking up Hall’s music and that he accidentally followed a link about the singer’s death.
How events unfolded
The trail eventually reached a page about suicide methods, followed by another page about jumping from the Grafton Bridge in New Zealand . Because investigators found a search for Tom Hall on a computer used in the Clancy home, his name came up in court.
The browsing history included a search for one of Hall’s songs and then information about his death, according to Massachusetts State Police testimony.
Background and Possible Cause
That digital trail is now part of the evidence being discussed in the Lindsay Clancy trial. It does not mean Tom Hall had any relationship with Clancy or her family. Because of the searches found on the computer, his name appears only.
