Update: The Boston Police Department has confirmed that a man died after being stabbed following a fight on the escalator at South Station on Wednesday evening, the Boston Herald confirmed.
There was a massive police activity at the station. The incident happened on the Red Line platform at South Station, reports stated. As of 6:20pm EDT, train services on the Red Line have resumed , Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority So far, an update has not come from the Boston Police Department regarding what happened at South Station today has not come.
“Obviously given the time of day, there’s a number of witnesses, so anyone who knows anything about what may have happened… either before, during or after this altercation, we need you to contact the Boston Police Department if you have any information as we continue to move forward with the investigation,” he added.
