Masarik alleged that she was taken to a hospital following the incident and suffered several injuries. She also said she had been heavily intoxicated at the time and has epilepsy, which she said increased the potential danger to her health.

According to Masarik, she did not initially pursue charges because she said she had little or no memory of what happened. She said the circulation of the video has since prompted her to seek legal advice about pursuing the matter.
Masarik also said she has since stopped drinking and recently became a mother.
Her account has not been independently verified by HT.com, and the police investigation remains ongoing.
Several names, including Rylee Blackwell, Daphne Ordiway and Brooklyn Morence, have circulated widely on social media in connection with the video. The woman who identified herself as the alleged victim also referenced one of those names in her comments about the incident.
However, the St. Johns Police Department has not publicly confirmed or released the identities of anyone allegedly involved. The names circulating online should therefore be treated as unverified.
